Kylian Mbappe is a professional French footballer who is team captain of the France national team and plays as a forward for Real Madrid in La Liga, the top men's professional football division of the Spanish football league system. While he may be an expert at football/soccer, he's definitely not an expert at securing his Twitter account, which was able to be breached on August 28th, 2024. During the breach, the attacker made references to players, leagues, and political stances about freeing Palestine. The attacker is believed to have profited between $100k and $200k from a token they launched via the breached Twitter called MBAPPE, which subsequently dropped to 0.
