Quadriga Initiative Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. It is Quadriga Initiative's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you on our website, https://www.quadrigainitiative.com/.

We ask for minimal information, as necessary to complete a pre-claim process. All information is used for the purposes of obtaining your balance lost in the Quadriga Coin Exchange collapse, and associating this with your email address, client ID, and first name as provided.

Data is protected within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. It is recommended to maximize privacy and security to use an email address which does not personally identify you, such as setting up a "forwarder".

We will send occasional emails to the address you provide that give progress updates. These are typically every month or so, although lately they've been less frequently.

Information is shared with third parties as follows:

  • If you choose to sign up and file a claim with our exchange partner, then your information may be provided to them for the purposes of validating the balance lost in the Quadriga Coin Exchange.
  • At one point, we provided some emails to the third party website Doodle to distribute a meeting invite. We might do this again. The meeting would be completely optional.
  • Sessions on the website are recorded in LogRocket, which allows hiding data in sensitive fields. This is done to gather useful feedback and improve the visitor experience. All session data is deleted automatically after 30 days.

We don’t otherwise share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.

You are free to refuse our request for information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with a pre-claim to confirm any amounts lost.

Your continued use of our website will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information. If you have any questions about how we handle user data and personal information, please contact us.

This policy is effective as of 29 March 2020.
